Universal American School (UAS) offers all students residing in Kuwait the opportunity for an American education regardless of race, religion, gender, or nationality. Applicants are evaluated on their academic abilities and willingness to participate fully in UAS’s programs.

The Admissions Team takes pride to help students and families during their UAS transition process and are dedicated to ensuring all students and families have a positive experience as a member of our international family. They are not only experienced staff, but also understanding as parents of UAS students. In addition to answering your queries, the department organizes school tours for interested parents.

High School Diploma

A student must complete 28 credits in English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Science, World Languages, Computer Technology, Physical Education, Islamic Religion (Muslims Only), and Electives. Twelve Advanced Placement (AP) courses are currently offered with the College Board’s AP Program and its AP International Diploma as integral components of our high school’s curriculum. Counseling services include preparation for TOEFL, PSAT, SAT, PLAN, ACT, and school-wide achievement tests. College admissions are served by the College Board’s Ex-Pan services.
