School Campus

Universal American School (UAS) is a UNESCO Associated School located in the northwest corner of Hawally, a suburb of Kuwait City. It occupies one square city block with 5,000 square meters (54,000 square feet) of floor area. The US$14 million school campus has eight floors with 127 classrooms.

Facilities include one Large Swimming Pool and two Training Pools, three Music Rooms, a 400-seat Auditorium, large Gymnasium, and smaller Sports Hall. The campus also has an Early childhood Playroom, Art Rooms, four Science Labs, Library, Health Canteen, and a Multipurpose Room. Our health clinic has high-quality standards with an on-site doctor and nurses.

The school has a well-prepared technology program with wireless internet access throughout the entire school, computer labs, a computer in each classroom, smart mimio boards, digital projectors, document cameras, and a Bring Your Own Device program for Grades 1-12 students. Seesaw for Schools and Zoom for Education are activated for students and teachers during e-learning. We also use an advanced PlusPortals system allowing enhanced communication with parents.

The campus boasts four well-equipped libraries housing a rich collection of over 25,000 volumes of books and periodicals. In addition to this extensive print collection, students and faculty have access to a wide range of digital resources through premium subscriptions to leading databases such as Destiny and Britannica Online. The libraries also provide high-speed internet access, computer workstations, and convenient printing services to support academic and research needs
