Graduation Requirements

High School Diploma

A student must complete 28 credits in English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Science, World Languages, Computer Technology, Physical Education, Islamic Religion (Muslims Only), and Electives. Twelve Advanced Placement (AP) courses are currently offered with the College Board’s AP Program and its AP International Diploma as integral components of our high school’s curriculum. Counseling services include preparation for TOEFL, PSAT, SAT, PLAN, ACT, and school-wide achievement tests. College admissions are served by the College Board’s Ex-Pan services.

  • Arab students must take four years of Arabic language. Non-Arab students are required to take “Arabic 9”, but may take French or Spanish to complete their requirement
  • Beginning with the class of 2005, all students must earn 5 world language credits
  • Islamic Religion & Holy Quran- only required for students of Muslim faith
