Early Childhood Department Activities

Throughout the school year, our Early Childhood learners take part in a variety of special events and celebrations that bring our community together and make learning joyful and memorable.

Field Trips
Our field trips connect classroom learning with the wider world. Children explore local places that support our units of study, deepening their curiosity and understanding through real-world experiences.

End of Unit Celebrations

Throughout the school year, children explore four exciting units of study that connect to their interests and everyday experiences. At the end of each unit, learners share what they have discovered through hands-on projects and classroom displays. Community and family members are often invited to join these celebrations, where children proudly talk about their learning and reflect on their growth.

Book Week
During Book Week, children explore their love of reading through themed activities, storytelling, and dress-up days inspired by favorite books. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build excitement around books and imagination.

Book Fair

Throughout the year, learners have the opportunity to explore and purchase books through our school’s partnership with local bookstores. The Book Fair encourages a love of reading and helps children discover new authors and stories to enjoy at home. Families are invited to visit and share in the excitement of finding just the right book together.

International Night

International Night is a special celebration of our diverse school community. Families come together to share food, music, and traditions from around the world. Children proudly represent their countries by dressing in traditional clothing and participating in performances that showcase the beauty of our global connections.

Sports Day
Sports Day is an exciting event where learners participate in fun, age-appropriate games and activities that promote teamwork, coordination, and school spirit.

National Day Celebration
Students proudly dress in Kuwait’s national colors and take part in parades, songs, and classroom celebrations to honor the country’s heritage and independence.

Gerge’an
In the middle of the Holy Month of Ramadan, our EC learners celebrate Gerge’an dressed in traditional Kuwaiti clothing. They sing traditional songs, play games, and share small treats with friends to honor this special cultural celebration.

Winter Fun Week
Before the winter break, children enjoy themed dress-up days, seasonal crafts, and indoor play activities that spread joy and creativity.

EC Concert / Spring Show
All Early Childhood students participate in our annual concert, performing songs in both English and Arabic for parents and elementary students. The Spring Show is a highlight of the year, giving children a chance to shine on stage and celebrate their growth with music and movement.

KG2 Graduation
To mark the completion of their early childhood journey, KG2 learners participate in a special graduation ceremony that celebrates their accomplishments and readiness for Grade 1.
