Staff vs. Student Volleyball Game Brings UAS Family Together
As part of their campaign on cancer awareness, NHS organized the traditional Staff vs. Student volleyball match. The staff team was a mix or various members from all divisions, while the student team was composed of the girls and boys Varsity team from this year. The student body came to cheer on their friends, play the drums with the Mascot and hear the witty commentary by the announcers. The staff won the first match with pride & strategy, but they would be beat by the passion and youthful determination of the students in the second match. The teachers finally claimed victory as they won by 2 points in the final match. In the end, the profits from the ticket sales went towards the 1000KD donation to the Al-Sidra Association from the NHS Campaign.
