The Universal American School was honored to have a very special guest speaker yesterday, Dr Lubna Al Qadhi. Dr. Lubna is a Professor at Kuwait University in the Sociology Department and works with many different organizations in Kuwait and abroad to create equal opportunities for women in the workforce. Her main focus is the empowerment of women in both the private and government sector in Kuwait. She shared her philosophy about how teachers influence and change lives of students for the better and her continued efforts for the support and enrichment of education for women in Kuwait.
