Our grade 3 students were young entrepreneurs on Market Day this week. This activity capped a Social Studies unit on Economics. During the unit, classes created a society with a name, a flag and currency as they performed jobs and earned salaries. Each student created a product to sell or developed a service to offer on Market Day, where they experienced first-hand the power of supply and demand.
